Christmas 2008

Elise,

You had a wonderful Christmas this year!!!! You woke up and found your Santa gifts on the couch. You immediately picked up the movie Lady and the Tramp. You were so excited!!!! You aslo got a doll house, some puppies to go in the doll house, a matching game, and some shoes from Santa. Then we opened our presents, you got books, color books, and a pony. Then mommy decied that she was hungry and wanted some breakfast, but didn't want to cook it, so we went to I Hop for breakfast (Thank you to all those who served and cooked for us on Christmas Day!!!). Then we watched Lady and the Tramp and then you had a nap. Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Charkee were on their way to see us when they called and said they slid off the road. OH NO! At least they were okay though, and they all got here safely. After we watched Lady and the Tramp, we went outside and played in the snow. We decided to make a snowman! We made a two headed snowman like the one in the Calvin and Hobbes Comics. It is pretty funny looking! Then Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Charkee arrived at our house and they brought a ton of presents with them. So we opened them, and you were having so much fun, you kept asking to open more and more presents. You even opened mom and daddy's presents. lol. It was so cute. Then we all ate Christmas dinner together and then we all just visited for a while. After all this, you were dead tired, so we put you to bed!

We hope that you had a Merry Christmas, Elise!!!

Love,

Mom and Dad

Halloween 2008

Elise

This year we went up to Blackfoot for Halloween and got to visit with friends and family. We took you to Grandma's Halloween party at the Willows and you had so much fun trick or treating! You would hold open your bag and say trick or treat so cute! And then you made sure to thank them afterwards! Grandma and Grandpa Duck also took you trick or treating later that night. We also decorated pumpkins at Grandma and Grandpa Turtle's house and we also did lots of other things that were really fun! You were a Care Bear this year for Halloween!

Fair Time (Better Late than Never!) :)

Elise,
In September, we went up to Blackfoot to visit family. Grandma and Grandpa, and Aunt Charkee took you to the fair and you got to ride on some of the rides. They said that you had tons of fun!

Build a Bear!

Elise,

Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Charkee came to visit us in October.

We had tons of fun together!

Some of the things that we did were go to the Bean Musueum at BYU. They had animals there and you loved it! We also went to McDonalds and you had tons of fun playing in the play place. We also did lots of shopping and one of the highlights for you was that we took you to Build a Bear and you got to make a puppy. You had the cutest smile on your face and had so much fun making your puppy!

A PACKAGE! YEAH!!!

Elise,
Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Charkee sent you a Halloween surprise in the mail. You absolutely loved it! I think the video says it all. :)

Play Dough!!!

Elise,

We got playdough out the other night and we all played with it. We even convinced daddy to join in the fun! Daddy made a monster and well, you made lots of things, and had tons of fun!!!

Warheads!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So,

Daddy and I thought it would be funny if we gave you a warhead just to see what you would do. (I know--call us evil parents if you wish). But you put it in your mouth, and then you spit it right back out and handed it to me, and said, "don't like this. " Your face was really funny, but unfortunately our camera has a time delay on it, so we didn't get a very good picture of your face. Darn that camera!

The Day Mommy Almost Burnt the Apartment Down

Elise,
So I decided to make you mac and cheese for lunch one Sunday, and well, I think the picure pretty much says it all. I forgot to add the water to the mac and cheese and I put it in the microwave, and it started smoking, and this is what it looked like when I took it out of the microwave. Needless to say, the house smelled horrible. So, we went and played outside for a while. LOL!

Happy 4th Anniversary to Us

WOW! I can't believe it has been 4 years that L.J. and I have been married. How time flies. Anyway, we had a great anniversary. We went up to Pocatello, Idaho to the Black Swan Inn (so that grandparents could watch Elise) :). It was amazing. A huge bed, gigantic hot tub---big screen t.v. Who could ask for more??? What a great way to relax. Anyway so we went shopping on our anniversary and ended up buying season 2&3 of Alf on DVD---they were buy one get one free. Who could resist? So we watched that while in the honeymoon suite. Then later that evening, we went to Batman--The Dark Knight. It was a great movie!!! And then we went out to lunch and dinner a lot. :). It was great fun.

So since L.J. usually buys me flowers on my anniversary (even though they are $60 and die), I decided to get him some this year. So I delivered him some flower and balloons to his work.

What great fun it was!!!

Anyway, here are some photos from are anniversary, and yes, my hubby does make it difficult to get a good looking, NORMAL photo. lol. :)
